Mobile robotic assistant for construction sites

ROSBIM – Mobile robotic assistant for construction logistics combining ROS and BIM- aims at developing an interface between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Robot Operating System (ROS) to create a robotic assistant dedicated to the transport of heavy loads on site. The platform follows the worker in unstructured environments, identifies and avoids static and dynamic obstacles, even those not foreseen beforehand. Its navigation is made more robust through the integration of the project information contained in the BIM model.
